Image rotator

Jul 18, 2012 12:14 AM

Hi I have a problem with editing my image rotator in Dreamweaver, when I go to open it I get this message: This is not located with in your defined site, please save the document in your Dreamweaver site first, I built the rotors in my Dreamweaver site, and they also work, I just cant edit them, I tried the suppliers of the rotator image magic, Projectseven.com but they said this is a Dreamwever problem. Can any one help please, thanks Jeff

I can't believe they said that at all.. Jeff......if they did then that's very bad and the publicity is not good for them. Usually Al would jump through hoops if it were a Dreamweaver issue and one of their products is involved.

    Hi Jeffrey -

Are you sure the site has been defined in site manager?

It would appear that at least some part of the rotator files are not saved in the root folder for this site.

Please upload your page and all dependent files to your server, and post a link for us.

    Thanks

By the way Al Sparber phoned me personally about an hour ago, it was not a good line he’s going to phone me on the land line about this time tomorrow, so hopefully we can sort it. Thanks Jeff

That sounds more like the PV11 I know. Hope you get this sorted soon.

I don't know if its something that youre doing incorrectly, or something that Dreamweaver is doing incorrectly. All PV11 products are rigorously tested before release so I would doubt thats where the problem lies.

If all you are having difficulty with a user interface, you can always close DW and edit in notepad or simpletext until you gget it sorted

    Cheers
