This also happened to me before. Well, I guess you have no choice but to reinstall LR 4.1 on your imac.

Specifically, why would that help? I am assuming you're suggesting I delete my current application ( retaining the catalogs I hope) and then start over again at Adobe, downloading the application. ( I hope I have the serial number somewhere). So I guess I am asking why would a new app be better than the one I havesince they are the same version?

Re-installing probably wouldn't help. You're right. For future reference, you can retrieve your serial number from Help->System info. You'd be doing yourself a favour by putting it in a place where you can find it again easily.

Thanks, Hal, that's what I thought. When they bring out 4.1.2 I'll update. I do have my serial numbers in a safe place..now to find that safe place!
