Can't even select an image - CRASH!!!

My DW CS6 crashes instantly and consistently by just clicking on an image and then immediately on another one.

 

The HTML file couldn't be simpler -- only thing on the page is a table with two cells and a small JPG or GIF in each one.

 

CLICK, CLICK, CRASH!

 

Doesn't matter which images  -- I've tried lost of different ones.

 

This DW CS6 is is virtually useless to me.

 

I have re-installed. The problem came back.

 

What am I supposed to do with this useless thing?
