Problem reading Elements DVD

I can't install DVD 2 from Premiere Elements (Photoshop included in DVD 1). I reinstalled Windows and tried to install Premiere Elements again, but my DVD reader won't read the DVD even though I can't see any scratches (I have always move the DVD between the case and the DVD reader - nowhere else).

Is there any way to download the contents from the DVD? I can send photos of the DVD as "proof" and I use my serial number from the back of the case.

What does Windows Explorer show for disc contents?

Are you saying that you were able to install the program on disc 1 but not the program on disc 2?

You don't say which operating system you're running -- but make sure you are installing the proper disc. Look at the fine print on the disc. One disc is for installing on a 32-bit operating system, another is for Windows 7 64-bit (no other 64-bit Windows) and another is for installing on a Mac.

The other two discs are content discs -- one for a PC and the other for a Mac.

On the front of that Disk 2, what exactly does the printing say?

What OS are you on, and if Win7, do you want to install PrE 32-bit, or 64-bit?

Good luck, and as Steve points out, the "fine print" can make all the difference.

You can download the additional content from http://www.adobe.com/special/premiereel/downloads/
