Using Win7 64 and Adobe Reader 10.1.3 and can open a pdf to read quite OK but the print dialoge box is unusable, just one big page with a couple of boxes on it, no printing usually.

I have tried both usb and wi fi connection on 2 printers but cannot change printer because there is nothing on the dialogue to use.

Can you help please?

Do you get a print menu in other applications other than Acrobat? The print menu is normally a windows menu. You may have to do a repair under the help menu.

You have the current version of Acrobat installed apparently. All I can suggest at this point is for you to run a repair (Help>Repair).

It seems as though there is a problem between Win7 64 and Adobe

Just to let you know that I can print fine on Win7 x64:

What and how are you trying to print - a local PDF file in the standalone Reader, or an online document, printing through the browser's print dialog?  Can you post a screenshot how your print dialog panel looks?
