Camera profiles - sorting?

Hi,

 

I have created and are creating camera profiles which I add to LR4.

 

But the list of profiles in LR is not sorted and that is a problem. How can I get the list in a usable sorted order?

    It is sorted in alphabetic order.

    This is not in alphabetic order.

     

    It is a bit messy and I will tide it up but until then I would like to have it alphabetic on names.

    My experience: the default Lr set seem sorted alphabetically, but when you add your own, they don't get sorted so much...

     

    My advice: Use presets for assigning camera calibration profiles, and you'll never have to use the profile dropdown again.

     

    Not only will they be sorted, but you can also arrange them into folders, and see previews in the navigator before choosing them.

     

    PS - There are 2 ways to create camera calibration presets that exclude the color mods:

     

    1. edit a preset that includes profile with a text editor and strip the color stuff out.

    2. click this button:

    _convert_preset_button.gif

    in AdvancedColorEditor.

    Hi,

     

    Thanks, that is a good workaround. I have tested it and it work nice. But it should not be neccesary if the camera profiles was sorted as it should in my opinion.
