    I just downloaded the trial version and installed it on my test PC, a Quadcore 2.4 GHz / 8 GB / GTX 470.

     

    I had an MXF file, 1920 x 1080 on the timeline and added 2 different MB effects, and still got fluid playback at def. 1/2 res. size. I think it is pretty good.
