Project Window Icon Layout

In CS6 the project panel has the icon layout. I have changed the viewing mode to the icon layout, however the little square box in the top left corner is still present (it says "poster frame" when I hover over it). I have noticed in the Adobe videos that this is not present, so my question is : IS THERE ANY WAY TO REMOVE THIS LITTLE BOX IN THE PROJECT PANEL?

The Project Window has a panel drop down menu.
There you will find Preview Area, which you can turn off or on.
