Convert Square flower trim to Round trim

Jul 10, 2012 11:10 AM

I need for someone to point me in the right direction to take a square flower trim on the outside border of a frame, and convert or transfer it to a "Round" flower trim on the outside border of the frame. I can't seem to accomplish this using the elliptical selection tool. Maybe someone has a simple way to do this?  Jimmy

    Jimmy,

Please post a sample picture which reveals what you are trying to do.

Did you apply the flower trim with a brush?

To a certain extent, you can 'round' the border with either the spherize filter or the correct camera distortion one, but anyway you would need a high resolution file to begin with.

    Colonel,

    You can improvise.

Google for flower brushes - photoshop and install a set that you like.

I found an azalea brush on my machine. Draw a circle and place the flower in a circular orientation.

You can place each one, if you so desire, on a separate layer and fine-tune using the move tool.

Once you have made your own template, save it.

I took this a step further - lots of possibilities here. Thanks for the idea.
