After I create a configurator panel,& Export it to C/Prog files/adobe/ps 6/Plugin/panel & restart PS there is no new panel listed in Windows/extension
what did i dowrong?
Michael
I had the same question. Make sure you included everything. For my new panel named LAW (my initials) the folder structure in Panels is: LAW>content>LAW.assets>locales>en_us. There are three files in content: LAW.jsx, LAW.swf, and LAW.xml. There is dictionary.xml in en_us.
Everything was automatically created, based upon my panel name and location. I'm going along blindly, but that worked for me.
Hi Michael,
I had just created a panel in Configurator 3, and it is showing up in Window>Extension. I listed all of my folders and files that were exported because it was successful for me. If your panel was successfully exported, with the file structure of mine, and it still doesn't show up, it is beyond my expertise.
Hope you can get it working properly.
regards,
Larry
With Configurator 3, you can export the panel as CS Extension by "File->Export Panel As CS Extension" to any place. A zxp file will be created. Double click this zxp file to intall the extension with Extension Manager. This way is easier to deploy the extension. And you can share your extension (zxp file) with others easily. And you can also submit this zxp extension to https://www.adobeexchange.com/producer.
