I'm sorry but I'm fully following the main issue.

Is this a particular tag you are trying to insert within the layout? If so do you have an example?

Hi Sidney,

Thanks for your reply.

To render the URL path for small and large product images we can use {tag_smallimage_path} and {tag_largeimage_path}, which is or particular use when using the BC image thumbnailing.

However, while {tag_smallimage} by itself works in the product detail layout, {tag_smallimage_path} does not.

When using this tag are you appending the action within the code? That's the only thing I can think of preventing this from displaying.

Hi Sidney,

Yep. That tag works with or without the thumbnail code.

Here is my test page for detail layout (doesn't work):

Here is my test page for small layout (does work):

https://adoratest01.worldsecuresystems.com/designer-brands

The tag {tag_smallimage_path} does not work in product detail layout.

Thanks for the example and yes I was able to replicate.

Since this is indeed a bug please submit a ticket on this and reference this forum post.

I'll have our dev guys review the ticket and apply a fix as soon as possible.

I went ahead and still marked this as a buggy in hopes this can be something that can be corrected in an upcoming release.

Would be awesome if you manage that Sidney since I was told it was not a bug, just not intended, But then I remember the days there was no _value or _path at all
