i have a travel LAPTOP, a HOME DESKTOP and an office DESKTOP-- i need to be able to access these apps from any of these computers whenever i'm at them. is this covered under the agreement?
If you subscribe to Creative Cloud and install the CS6 on one computer, and then later want to install CS6 apps on a new computer, then yes you can do so. Per the EULA (http://www.adobe.com/products/eulas/), you are entitled to install your single-user license software on two computers.
in fact, there should be a "team cloud" colaborative program that is offered... individual subscriptions within one (1) company that allows for constant upgrades, et.al.
the problem here, as noted by many of us art directors, is that within the realm of photoshop (raster images-- tiff, jpeg, eps) and illustrator (vector-- logos and such) back saving items is usually not an issue. where adobe has had a real issue, is that with every InDesign upgrade, there IS NO back saving. someone working in 5.5 can not load up and edit a layout that was created in 6.
i work a 9 to 5 using 5.5 on a travel laptop (and i'm on press or travel frequently) and a desktop using 5.5
i freelance at nights from home. i'd like to be able to work from home on my desktop as well, and utilize the cloud services for all of these functions.
the crux of what i am trying to determine, is that if i save something in cs6 (cloud), can one of my co-workers load the SAME file up in 5.5 and be able to edit and prep for press... because as of now, they can not.
mandhir, i appreciate your efforts. your responses, as informative as they are, aren't helpful. they are in that you've defined the rules; they aren't in that, other than purchasing an ADDITIONAL FULL SUBSCRIPTION, i still have the same problem.
thank you again.
