How to publish SWF files with Flash?

I was doing exactly what the video said about creating the html document in flash to open in my browser for my first two videos, then after that, all it would do was display a black box with no controls, nothing at all in the browser. As far as I know, I didn't make any changes to settings, but this is my first time using flash.

imagine you have to explain your problem to someone that cannot see what you're doing and cannot see what video you are looking at. now explain your problem.

Terribly sorry. I was watching this video and trying to follow it: http://tv.adobe.com/watch/flash-411/video-players-for-the-flash-phobic /community/#community All I got was a black box in my browser with no controls, so it obviously didn't work.

you must upload your flvplayback compononent skin.

when you publish your swf, there will be a longfilenamerelatedtoyourskin.swf file in the same directory. upload that skin.swf
