I have to scan the original picture over again to get the second individual picture; same for the third, etc. Then I have to scan it again to save the original.

Not sure if it is a problem while scanning, or a problem with reconnecting missing files in the Organizer ?

I'm not sure what this has to do with "Reconnecting" either. What do you mean by "get the second individual picture"? Are you using a scanner to create digital copies of your hard copy images? Or are you scanning your hard drive for the already extant digital images?

Perhaps a screen shot would help?
