I can't install adobe flash player

i can not install adobe flash player
What is your operating system, version & edition?
What is your web browser?
What means "can't" - what exactly happens when you try?
windows 7
web browser is comcast xinfinity
It goes to 50%, then I have to close down and reopen, but it won't install and stay installed.

Download the installer from http://helpx.adobe.com/content/help/en/flash-player/kb/installation-pr oblems-flash-player-windows.html#main-pars_header and save it to disk, then close all browser windows and run the downloaded installer.
