Premiere Elements 10, 64 Bit Installation

Jul 21, 2012 1:59 AM

Good morning/afternoon/evening.

I just bought Adobe Premiere Elements 10 and the box says that it is compatable with Windows 7 64 Bit OS when you run it in compatability mode.

When I go to properties - comapatability, I've tried running it in compatability for every version of Windows available from the drop down menu, but when I run the installation file it says "Installer does not support 64 Bit Windows 7".

I know how to run it in compatability mode for different versions of Windows, but I haven't a clue on how to run it in compatability mode for 32 bit OS.

Can anyone please tell me what to do?

Thanks

Yes, the disk labelling is not very well presented and you are not the first, and probably not the last, to use the wrong disks.

Note though that PRE10 64-bit runs natively in Windows 7 64-bit. You do not need to run it in compatibility mode.

    Cheers,
