Editing a book module page layout?

Hello!

I believe I saw a video about customizing a layout in the book module. I need to replicate a layout used for story boards. see attached. I found some pages that have a grid of photos. Is there any way to start from scratch or edit a multi photo page? I'd like the text elements as well. This would be an amazing time saver in preparing a story board book. Thanks  anywayIF_BoardwalkTitle_031210_boardwalk_czar_02.jpg

The Lightroom book templates are not editable, but there are templates for 4 images per page similar to what you have shown here.

I agree with Brett. There's no way for you Picturequest to edit book templates in Lightroom.Just use the available templates.

Julieanne Kost has a nice video in Adobe TV, the third in the book module series, Advanced I think. It shows a work around in the Print module, make a template using the page dimensions and then export the completed page as a JPEG at 300dpi.

Which means you choose the layout of 1 image page-filling inside book module, for such a result from the print module.

But please be aware that there is still a bug around the book module, that was not fixed with LR4.1, despite earlier contrary claims... (http://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family/topics/dzzps02bdogcs)

You could lose the content of your book at any time.

If you work in several sessions on a book, be sure to backup the catalog on every exit as a measure of caution: you might need to revert to the backup if your book has vanished on next starting of LR.

We fixed a very specific bug in the book module with the 4.1 release. There seems to be a wholly separate bug that is not addressed in the 4.1 release, but we have yet to reproduce it. No one has been able to provide steps that cause the behavior described. We need to find a consistent set of steps that will reproduce the problem on our side so we can find a solution.

Or if that seems unreasonable, periodically right click the book in the collections panel and duplicate it.
