Not recognised as legitimate licence user for ebook I purchased

I had to return my laptop to factory settings and upload all of my files and folders again.  Why does Adobt Digital Editions not recognise me as the licence holder of an ebook I purchased from C & T Publishing?  Help, please?

    ADE associates information about your computer environment with the ebooks

    you download.  When you reload your computer, some of that information is

    either changed or is not the same as it was when the ebook was downloaded.

    So, let me ask a question or two and see if we can find out what's

    different.

     

    When you downloaded the ebook, you had a particular Adobe ID.  When you

    reloaded the computer, did you download ADE again with the same Adobe ID?

     

    How did you reload your ADE files?
