Problem with setting up document size to thousandth of an inch

When I'm **** book covers I need to make my document size correct to the thousandth of an inch. For example, a recent cover is supposed to be 13.235. Instead, the measurement that holds rounds up to 13.24. I'm assuming there's a default somewhere that needs changing, but don't know how to find/change it . . .? THANKS.

It actually is setting the size of the document to 13.235 and not 13.24. It just rounds of the figure in that dialog which for some reason only supors two decimal points.

You can see here I set the size so that it would be 11.245 by it chaned to 11.25 but this is the actual document and you can see it is shy of .25" mark.

Thanks for your help, Wade. So, as long as I set the correct size it will actually be there, just not indicated as such in the dialog box? It's disconcerting, especially when the printer is looking for absolute precision to the thousandth of the inch to produce a spine that aligns perfectly...

use this small script to determine the actual size down the gazillionth of an inch. Here I created a doc 13.235" x 6.5/8"

var idoc = app.activeDocument; alert("doc width : " + idoc.width/72 + " inches\rdoc hieght : " + idoc.height/72 + " inches");

hieght > height (twice).
