I just got a new computer and want to switch CS3 Premium from my old computer. The old computer was a 32-bit HP with Windows XP. I deactivated it with no problem.
The new computer is a 64-bit Windows 7 computer, and as soon as I said to install, I got an error message that said "The Installer Database is corrupt. Please contact Adobe Customer Service if this problem continues."
It is Sunday afternoon and Adobe Customer service is closed. I really need to get CS3 installed on my new computer - it is the version I use for my work.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
CS3 is not officially compatible with Win7 and Adobe doesn't support legacy products, anyway, so that call would have been pointless in the first place. Other then that the usual advise - turn off UAC and any security tools, run as admin, try the compatibilty modes. Beyond that nobody can really help you, you'll just have to bite your way through.
