how to find syntax errors in a PDF programatically

Hi

 

        I have some pdf files which have syntax errors(found through preflight).

        Now i want to check in my plug-in applications whether a particular file has syntax error or not?   Means i want to check it programatically.

      Please let me know what funcitons are available in SDK to do it?
