The Lightbox under Slideshows seems to work as expected; but, I cannot get the Lightbox Display under Compositions to work properly. Is it broken? Is there a fix in the works?
Here's what happens:
I drag Lightbox Display onto the page.
Now, no matter how I try to fill the display with images, I cannot; at least, it does not fill properly.
If I don't select the display and just try to place images by clicking over the display, nothing happens.
If I select either the thumbnails or the display images, and then try to place a number of photos, some photos seem to go in, others do not. If I fill thumbnails, they images do not appear in the larger image areas. This does not happen the the Slideshow Lightbox. All I have to do with the Slideshow Lightbox is to drag it in and place images...doesn't seem to matter whether anything is selected, or not. And, the new images appear as thumbnails and as larger images.
So, I wonder, is the Display version broken?
As far as the thumbnails go, you can change the image by selecting the thumbnail and changing the background fill from a solid grey to an image.
This widget is similar to the tooltip widget, in that there is a "trigger" and "target" area. The thumbnails act as a trigger element, and the target element is the presentation display that appears. The photo is just one piece in the target area.
If you look at this screenshot you can see that there are two boxes, one for the image (which you can just delete if you wish) and one for the target area, where you can paste other images or text.
Hope this helps!

Ahh...I didn't know that we are supposed to replace the grey fill with a background image. I thought we just filled the box with an image (as opposed to a background image).
Still, the Compositions > Slideshow Display doesn't seem to allow one to fill the hero and thumbnails with multiple images in one fell swoop, does it?
Hi,
This is not possible in Muse at this point. I would appreciate is you can add that to the ideas section over here, http://forums.adobe.com/community/muse/ideas
