Hello Folks,
I have a stupid question. I have been using Adobe Illustrator for YEARS now lol, so me having to ask this question hurts a little on the inside lol but anyways I do NOT know why it happen so I am hoping someone can shoot me a quick answer. Sometimes when I am working in Illustrator and I want to add a stroke some things will NOT let me add a stroke under 1 px, I have no idea what is different on some of these things too, like I am working on a Logo right now and I am working on a section that is just a few letters that I used the Font Tool to make and then just created outlines out of it to make it a working shape, I selected all the letters and added a stroke, half the letters let me add the .25 px stroke and the other half would not go under 1 px. What makes this happen?
Thanks in advance for the help, and sorry if it is something stupid lol I just have been stumped on it for awhile not and cant figure it out

Also while I am asking stupid questions one other one that has bothered me for quite some time is when making a logo (or any project) for example like the logo above just some basic squared off font type shape and I Off-Set the Path on it to maybe add a bevel or what ever the case is, when adding that and if I decide to make that object smaller, it messes the offset paths WAY out of wack. is there a way to keep those all exact? Please note that when I was in College for Graphic Design we only worked in Photoshop so I have learned Illustrator completely on my own, so I do not know ALL the tricks and tips.
Thanks again

Point one is due to the Align to Pixel Grid option which can be set in the Open dialog for new files (on by default in Web profiles) and can be changed in the Transform panel. Must be changed individually for existing objects. Point two can ge solved by checking the box to Scale Strokes and Effects in the Scale dialog or Preferences.
OMG you are a LIFE......SAVER!!!!!!!!! lol, thank you so much for not only the awesome help, but man the SUPER quick response. I have been in Illustrator for going on 5 years now and LOVE it, but its such a powerful program and there is ALWAYS something new to learn and love! I couldnt see myself using anything else for Vector Art!
Thanks a Million
