How to setup secure zone with different first charge price and recurring price?

Hello,

I just would like to know if it is possible with BC to setup the secure zone membership to have a different first charge price for a set period of time than the  recurring price all in just one registration or secure zone. Unlike this http://kb.worldsecuresystems.com/230/bc_2303.html where you need to make 2 separate secure zones.

E.g. Visitor sign ups using credit card and charged $1 for first 2 (or 3 or 5 and so on...) days trial access. After trial access expires, he will be charged the full amount, say $30 every month (or year and so on...) until membership is cancelled. All of this in just one registration or secure zone. No need for visitor to register again to pay the full amount for the secure zone.

    Hi Chris,

You need to go to the order once it's created, before the next billing cycle, and change the total amount to the new amount. All consecutive orders generated from that initial/master order will be raised for the new amount you set.

    Cheers,

I looked at this and found that if you increase the amount on the original order it leaves you with an balance owing on the original order which of curse ceates certain issues so I am not sure thatthis is the best approach. IS there any alternative suggestion?

An alternative would be to change the amount on the instance created from the original order, which happens 14 days prior to the charge, before the system processes the order. But you'd have to do this for every instance, every month.

Thanks Mario however I rejected this thought myself as the invoice has already gone out with the previous amount. When you change the first instance as you suggest you then have to send an opology / explanation so this is not really feasible either...
