SharePoint 2010 CMS Setup

Jul 24, 2012 12:38 PM

I'm trying to configure FrameMaker 10 to use SharePoint 2010 as a CMS. I have the URL and Port number, and I'm the owner of the site collection that I want to use (the one pointed to from the URL). When I log in from the Repository Manager, I can see the libraries I've set up there, but if I click a plus sign to browse any of the libraries, I get an eror message: "Object reference not set to an instance of an object." I'm afraid that is not a very useful error message.

A couple more clues: I can command FrameMaker to upload a file or an active file, and I do get a progress bar that eventually disappears. But the file does not actually upload. Same thing for creating a folder - it appears that it is going to work, but when I check SharePoint, no folder was actually created. In fact, if I search the library there is no sign of the file or folder that FrameMaker attempted to upload. Nor do I get any error message.

From the context of the messages here relating to SharePoint, it seems many do have it working, however I'm at a loss as to see how this was achieved. Ideas?

I am not sure if you have connected the SP server from Framemaker properly,by using the server name, user name ,password and repository.

Try deleting and create the server again.
