Can the tag-shippingoptions be altered any further than shown in BC?

Can I edit the actual javascript for that tag? Such as default the country field and hide it? Or change the order of the items, that sort of thing?

    Not sure if this will help or what your wanting to do but.....

     

    {tag_shippingoptions}List of shipping options. Extend via {tag_shippingoptions,X,Y,Z}. Set X to true to enable country and state dropdowns, for use with the Limit Delivery To feature or state taxes. Set Y to true to enable state tax regardless of customer country (otherwise only for customers in your country). Se Z to 2-letter country code to limit shipping country, e.g. US for United States. Use a semi-colon to add additional countries, e.g US;AU.

    Thanks, but I have already gone that route. I am looking for a little more customization. Our clients always seem to want more than BC can offer. We need to hide the Country field, bring the zip code and state fields to the top, and streamline the Fedex options. I am not entirely certain this is possible, but I need to know if it can or cannot be done in order to tell them.

    For me, being able to set a default shipping option would be great.

    Position stuff - yes.

    On Page load you can use jquery for example to set the default shipping option by making an option item selected.

    It would be great if we could arrange them (by giving them a weighting) like we can with other things in the system so we can display them in whatever order we need. If you number them at the start of the shipping option that works, but who wants a number in front of the option?
