10.6.8 and Creative Cloud

Jul 18, 2012 2:40 PM

I have tried at least 10 times to download InDesign CS6 without any success. At the very end of the download it gives me an installation error, and I've retried WAY too many times.

Any help? Running on 10.6.8 because I don't want to lose Quark 6.5 at this moment. That's why I need to work with InDesign.

Thanks!

Is there any error code? Could you post a screenshot?

Have you tried any solutions from this forum thread?

    Ron,

What does the Help menu in your InDesign CS6 look like? Does it have a Deactivate option?

Read this document, and try downloading the latest version of the Adobe Application Manager, here.

This might work to bring your InDesign out of trial mode.

    Ron,

I believe this means you are in the clear. Are you still receiving any trial messages? Sometimes it can take a little bit of time to work through the Adobe ID information for the trial version to change to the full subscription version.

I had the trial version of Photoshop CS6 when I started my Creative Cloud subscription and it eventually changed for me. I even received an email with about 10 days left in my "trial" that it would expire soon, which was apparently just an error.

    Michael

You're very welcome, Ron. Don't hesitate to post back if you experience any more problems.
