help with HDR

I was shooting some images in Raw and I wanted to work with them in HDR. They look good on the computer from light and dark exposure. But when I work with them in CS5 or Lightroom 4 they do not have any different tones, like they are stuck in the middle. Thanks so much John S.

Your description is a little confusing - what do you mean they "look good on the computer"? When you view them in PS CS5 and Lightroom you are also viewing them "on the computer".

Just to make sure: You processed bracketed shots taken with a tripod with »Merge to HDR Pro«?
Could you please post a screenshot to illustrate the issue?

Do you mean in the finder, vs the application themselves? so all of them individually look the same in Lightroom? Or you did the Merge to HDR under Automate? More info please.

thank you all for your comments, figure out what was wrong. I load my images on an external hard drive, I decided to load them on the main hard drive, then import them to lightroom, and it work. Must had glitch in the external
