I don't use Photoshop a whole lot, but just wondering...
I've created a rectangle with a different colour stroke. I decided that I wanted a slightly different size of radius and an entirely different colour of stroke. Do I keep having to make new ones, or is there a simple way to edit the one that I have already made?
Thanks!
Version CS6
I've used the rounded rectangle tool. I didn't use the layer style from the layers panel. I just gave it a stroke of 3pt blue and radius of 20px from the "fil/stroke/radius" options in the top bar. I was just wondering if there was any easier way to adjust both the radius and the colour of that stroke without having to recreate the rounded rectangle again. So adjust the one I already have.
In Illustrator, this creates a path. You can go back into the rounded rectangle and change the colour and radius REALLY easy. I know I'm not using Illustrator, but I'm wondering if it could be easy like that?
OK, so I've just realized that as long as the tool remains active, you can go back and adjust the fill/stroke colour/size of the rounded rectangle. That's a start, but no way to adjust the radius, huh? THAT would be awesome if that was a feature! I like to play around and see what radius looks good. It would be nice to be able to adjust it on the fly.

The Stroke of a Shape Layer can be changed at any later time if it has not been flattened.
Regarding the radius check out

Just noticed that the Script I linked to will be thrown by Strokes set to something other than Align > Inside.
But including checks for that would likely be a bother as the Shape Layer Strokes seem not to be iincluded in the DOM, so one would have to, if possible at all, get the information from ActionDesriptor-code or one could evaluate the PathPoints instead of the Layer’s Bounds.
If the task is a vey frequent one for you you could ask for help with a Scripting solution over at
