Facebook integration

Jul 26, 2012 3:33 AM

Has anyone seen any good examples of facebook integration yet, I can see Wired (US) and (UK) it's interesting the UK have an iPad link quite prominent but the US is a bit more hidden. Anyway, I have a presentation tomorrow, and part of that will be to show how articles can be shared with facebook, but it's looking a bit thin on the ground for examples; and yes I know I've left it late!!

Cheers

Alistair

Backpacker and DPS Tips both have Facebook social sharing enabled. Backpacker has a paywall.

Thanks Bob, I just tested your DPS Tips; sent a short test message to the facebook page.

But where is your facebook page, searched DPS tips, and found a page which I don't think it's yours!

I then looked you up, can't believe your age! your profile pic must have been taken a long time ago (ha ha)

    Cheers!

    Haha.

OK got it sorted, I'm in your App, I link the article to MY facebook page, which is fine.

But I also liked what you did though on the the DPS test page, where you post a link of an article.

If I was doing that for my clients, I guess I would need admin rights to the FB page.

Early days, but I'm sure this will be great!

    Cheers
