I'm sorry to say I know nothing techincal about that (apparently failed) product.
We can only hope that the images are stored on disk somewhere but I recall reading a few posts from people who were not able to reclaim their images after losing the functionality of the software. Have you searched your disk for the files?
I do hope someone (from Adobe?) who knows more about Photoshop Album Starter Edition will comment here.
