I've got the front and the back of my driving license on 2 pages of a .pdf file.
How can I have them both on the same page, so that they indeed fit on 1 page only, and the copy can be printed on 1 page only too.
That’s a good trick, thank you. I’ll use that for today.
Long term however I need to find a definitive solution with full size documents, as by reducing the original pages (and not actually merging them, since one size of the Driving License uses a bit less than half the page) it is difficult to read the information that is featured on the Driving License.

Scan front and back as 2 separate TIFF / image then use image workshop like paint or gimp and paste them onto the same TIFF or image.
Then import/scan by create pdf from file this TIFF into acrobat.
Done this a few times and its the best way to get the highest resolution and also cleanup as Drivers Licenses and passports have alot of watermarks, graphics andembossing which sometimes scan weirdly.
