is there a solution to correct "Cancel Delete Continue" warning on Audition CS5.5

Audition crashed on me a few times so I did a restart on my G5 iMac. Now this window comes up every time I boot CS5.5 and the only way to continue is to click "Cancel" which let the programme start. I can then go to "open recent" and continue with my previous session.

Is there a solution to correct this annoying problem? - I fear that next time I have a crash I won't be able to retrieve my session.

Is there an update for Audition CS5.5?

    I don't know if it also works on a Mac but keeping the Shift key pressed whilst starting Audition on a PC bypasses some of Audition's startup option files allowing it to start if there are problems with the saved ones.

    You can press "Delete" without erasing your existing session.  All that will do is remove the old backup items in your Temp folder.
