I have Photoshop CS and ImageReady. I am looking to purchase someplace Clip Art software packages. Does anybody have suggestions on clipart distributers (that I can purchase in on CDs and DVDs?) I know that there are some very good clipart collections out there, as I browsed through some wonderful clipart when visiting a commercial printer, years ago. He was a Macintosh user, by the way.

DynamicGraphics.com used to have collections under the name Liquid Library. Not sure what happened to them, but I heard they sold out to GettyImages.com/Illustrations. I'm not sure if you can find collections there, but it is a great resource for quality clip art. Just do some word searches on the web and see what's out there. Graphics.com is interesting.
Thank you for your reply.
I am looking for something like Broderbund, that I can get in a CD package. The online sites are often loaded with Trojuns, and are extremely slow for browsing because of internet. A person can spin through hundreds of images in minutes on a CD or DVD, while only three or four per minute on the internet.
Does the Adobe site have reviews of clipart or ann online reviews site with reviews of clipart?

a slew of choices here. Looks like stuff you were looking for.
Thank you. Thats what I am talking about. Except the collection I had seen at the printer's place, years ago, had a variety of subjects in each catalogue he had there. At $200 dollars per subject listed here, I think I'd better look up this printer, and find out what the names of the collections they had there. I hope I can get one of those collections for the two hundred or less.
From what I figure, clip art has been around for a century or more, used by newspapers and magazines for articles and advertisements. Some of the clip art that I had seen in those collections looked like they could have been created by artists back in the 1920s or earlier.
