    Provide more details

    - which OS?

    - What version of Acrobat?

    - Location on the disk are you opening the file from?

    - Does it happen regardless of where the file is located? For example, does it work fine if the file was on your desktop?

Seems like a standard config that most people use. There's probably something else on your system setup that is causing this.

Couple of things to try - if you aren't on 10.1.3, use help->check for updates to get there

If you are already on 10.1.3, run a repair on Acrobat installation from the control panel/add remove programs panel

    I have the same problem.

    I am running Win7

    I have Acrobat X 10.1.3

I am forced to rename files when I attempt to save to a folder. It seems to work fine when on the desktop.

Why does it work from the desktop and not from the file folders?
