Hi,
I have a project for a client that is a bit tricky. First there is the content pages and then there is a quiz at the end with 10 questions. Then a result slide and from there the user can click "retake quiz" (if they failed) or continue (both if they fail or pass). If they click continue and have failed they are sent to a fail slide that says they should take the quiz again or retake the course at a later time. If they pass they are sent to a diploma slide where they can print a pdf diploma.
The project has the standard Captivate playbar at the bottom.
The customer only wants the users to be able to go to the diploma slide if they have passed. So the branching on the slides with the buttons is working like the customer wants, but the tricky student are able to click in the progress bar or on the next button in the playbar and get to the diploma slide.
Is there any way to tricker, so that the diploma slide is not accessible through the Captivate playbar??
The playbar is just like the control panel for a VCR...
Why not hide the playbar at the start of the question slides, you do not really need it anymore because the buttons on the question/score slide provide navigation.
You can do this by assigning the value 0 to the system variable cpCmndShowPlaybar when entering the first Question slide: slide properties, Actions accordion

Hi Lily,
It is already turned off in the quiz, but comes back from the result slide and onwards again. But guess you are right, that it might help to turn it off on the last 3 slides as well. Just thought maybe there were other options to exclude it from there. But thanks for quick and helpful reply :-)
