Help with dual layer form.

Using Adobe X Pro, I have a form that is a purchase order form, I need it to be filled out by staff, then forwarded to their supervisors, then that will then be forwarded to me.  Is there a way to have only a portion filled out by the first person, then a second section filled out by the supervisor that could then be submitted to me by email?  Any thoughts or ideas would be great.  Thanks in advance.

    Yes, but you will have to install a special JavaScript file in the Acrobat application JavaScript folder on each user's computer and that file will need to be updated as supervisors change.

     

    The special script will check the login name for the user name of the supervisors and unlock the supervisor's fields if there is a match.

     

    Your form can lock selected fields when a digital certificate signature is applied a signature form field.

     

    There is no need to use layers.
