copying smart objects to photoshop

i wanted to copy a few objects at once to photoshop and i was hoping it would bring them in as seperate smart objects.... instead it came in as one smart object.

is there a way to bring in a few layers at once as smart objects? i know i can export as psd but it rasterizes which is stupid

    Nope. You can copy the objects individually, then paste them individually.  That's about the best you'll do.

    If you want to retain the relative position of each object create a box around the objects with no fill and stroke and copy this box along with each object.
