I have a new computer, and everything was transferred over from my old one, including photoshop elements 10. But I have no catalogs on the new one. Where could they be?
my computer guy moved my programs onto the new computer, and moved my files from the old one to the new one too. but when I opened Photoshop Elements my catalogs are empty and there are only a few photos in the albums (the list at the right hand side).
My computer guy did it – I think “reinstalled” all my programs and files from my other computer. I had photoshop elements 10 and he moved it onto my new computer – I don’t know how that is actually done. But the catalog of all my photos is not there. In fact, no old catalogs are there. There are a few random photos that show up, but for the most part the photos aren’t showing up. I have a PC with Windows.
Clearly he didn't move "everything", and he needs to find the catalog file from the old computer. It is *.pse10db. This must be moved to the new computer. Once that is done, we can provide further advice.

It will explain to him the proper procedure for transferring your PSE catalog and images to a new computer.
