When using CS4 (Dreamweaver and Fireworks) the "Properties" panel does not display correctly when running in Windows 7. The bottom half of panel is out of site no matter screen resolution and the input boxes "Title" etc are cutoff vertically.
Is this a compatibility issue, and if so, does anyone know of a work around?
Thanks for any help--Patrick
I just tried CS4 on my Windows 7 Professional and I don't see the problems you are describing.
If you click on the above image, you can see that everything is pretty much readable. Are you sure you have got the correct drivers for your system? For Dell System (I am using Dell Optiplex 760) you can download the drivers using your system tag number.
Hope this helps you to pin point the problem.
Ken, thanks for the tip. I do have the PI expanded and felt like I researched about every help resource out there. I am going to try downloading drivers that the other post suggested for my Optiplex 990 system to see if that might correct. I assumed since I bought a new 990 from Dell that the drivers would already be loaded... I guess never assume! Thanks to all help posted!
Make sure your system's Text-Size is 100% (default).

Workaround
***Goto Control Panel > All Control Panel Items > Display
***Select on the left "Set custom text size (DPI)"
**Set whatever scale percentage you want (DPI)
***Uncheck "Use Windows XP style DPI scaling"
Click "OK"
When you load up Dreamweaver you should see the whole Properties pane.
In the case that you don't after changing that setting restart your computer and try again.
