I am trying to create a blue red 3d anaglipth image that has a Lensflair face, how do I select the lensflare and make it look good? Any good tutorials about 3d design?
The lens flare is just a filter that can be placed anywhere on your image, so nothing stops you from placing it differently in 2 images to simulate the differences between left and right eye. The rest is far too vague to make any sense of it. The default lens flare isn't that great to begin with, but of course there's ways to create better ones from manually building them with layers to using third-party filters. So waht do you mean by "make it look good"?
Well the lens flair is already on the image. and I have been having troubles figuring out how to select the flair itself. Sorry was in a rush and I couldn't edit my messae. But what I meant by make it look good is make it well look professional something I could put in a portfolio. I haven't used the programs in CS5.5 in the few years since I left college so I'm doing stuff like this to get my chops back. I figured it's the only way I can do more than just flip burgers.
Post a screen capture of the images you’re wanting to reduce flare in, so suggestions can be based on the image content. The lens flare is just an unwanted defect in the image, and how you might select and/or remove it depends heavily on the image context.
For something to look 3D with glasses, the portions of the object in front or behind the “screen” depth are shifted left and right compared to each other which means the portion of the face covered with a ray in the right-eye image will be different than the portion of the face covered by the left-eye image, so you need to have the entire face to work with, because different parts are covered with the rays in the each eye’s image.
If you want to start with what you have, just make it the part of the flare that is at screen-depth and create additional flare streaks on top of it, but don’t expect any of the current flare to have any depth, only the new flare you’d add. You’d probably want to get rid of the one diagonal flare streak that also has a non-red portion and make that part of your 3D flare.
