What to do to move from old server to new server?

Hi,

We have a deployed application using liveCycle ES2.5 and oracle database, we are planning to use a new server,

so I want to ask what we have to do first to avoid losing any ongoing processes or any documents stored in adobe repository.

please provide me with any links or any advices and guidlines

Thank you TundraSteve,
no we're not thinking about the upgrade now, we just want to move from old server to new one, and we do not want to lose the current working process.
