I'm trying out Encore CS5 and have run into the following problem:
I'm creating a Flash file of my authored DVD but it only shows subtitiles on one of the two timelines in the project.
Subtitles are visible in Encore when I preview both timelines but they only show up on one in the Flash output. If I output to a DVD folder or an actual DVD, they appear fine in both timelines.
Is this an issue with the software or could I be doing something wrong? As I said, they appear fine in a DVD folder or an actual DVD but when I create a Flash file (.flv), it only shows the subtitles on one of the timelines.
Ideas?
Thanks.
Are you using "Do Not Export Images for Text Subtitles"? I don't see what could result in only one timeline showing subtitles, but I'd consider what might be different between them.

I thought CS6 made some more changes to flash output, but I see nothing in the help file (that says it applies to CS5 and CS6) related to this.
Just as an FYI, in a frustrated attempt to fix the problem, I rebuilt the entire project from scratch and still have the same issue -- still only with the Flash output.
There are two timelines (40 chapters in one, 2 in the other), five menus, two 40+ minute videos. The timeline with 40 chapters is the one that won't display the subtitles.
Uggh....
Hi ,
I tried two timelines with subtitles one having >40 chapters and other having no chapters and exported to flash in Encore CS5.1 and CS6 .
I am able to see subtitles in both my timelines .
Can you check whether it is happening with this specific project or a simple project having two timelines?
Thanks
