audio ramping

Hey,

I have creative cloud, so if anyone says it has to goto audition, and can tell me what to do (demanding alot I know), that's fine as I have the program and a little knowledge on it.

Basically I'm editing something and it has a heartbeat. I'd like to sorta ramp the beat or throw some effect where the heart like slows down or sounds like it's stopping.

Any ideas?

In Audition go to Effects/Time and Pitch/Stretch and Pitch and try the Cutting Power preset.

The only Pitch keyframing you can do is in Manual Pitch Correction. But, unfortunately, it doesn't have a large enough range to do exactly what you want.

If you happen to have AA3 or an older version still installed, it has an effect known as ptch bender which was very useful.  A bunch of us have put in feature requests for this to return, so fingers crossed!
