If I wipe my hard drive, for reasons not pertaining to adobe, with my current creative suite on it will I still be able to activate it when i re-install it?

    Ideally you should deactivate CS before formatting the drive via the help menu in any of the applications. If you wipe without deactivating then you'll consume one seat (CS allows two activations per user), but you can contact Customer Support and ask for a reset.
