How do I get LR4 to import my scanned tifs

Am getting error message: Could not move a file to the requested location.

Scans have been saved on dvd, numbered as Scan_1 (680).tif, Scan_1(681).tif, etc.

Is it the parenthsis in the file numbers? If so how can I chance to make it work. Looking at over 1000 files.

    Where are you requesting the files to be Copied? Note: you can't Move from DVD. I'm not sure you can Add in the same location, either.

     

    Parens in the name seem OK on Windows, at least.

    Good job, Hal. I just changed the option from Move to Copy and it now works,
