Please explain.

What's the difference between a flash application on a web page, and a stand alone application ?

And what should I do to make the stand alone application ?

    I think I Know. It is like putting it on Android or Ipod, right ?

    Not exactly.

    Different player is used on mobile devices, which is Adobe Air.

    When you run your application in standalone, it uses Flash Player Debugger and you can use debugging utilities as trace.

    When it is run in a browser it uses Flash Player Plugin, and the browser uses an html file which is generated by Flash Authoring tool or Flash Builder, to display your flash content correctly.

    I think that you want to build a desktop application (from what I understand) and you would use Adobe Air in this case.

    I Have Adobe air in  Flash CS5.5. Can I use it for my stand alone app ?
