I have a passive cooled Nvidia GeForge GT 240 installed in my silent PC with Windows 7 64 bit.
Premiere Pro CS6 doesn't recognise this card but CS5 did.
So no GPU accelaration for me
Is there anything I can do about this, other than installing an other videocard?
I tried the search but couln't find any answers on this topic.
Have you performed the "hack" with CS6?
Each install of Premiere requires the hack to be carried out again as the file you modify is replaced each time Premiere is installed. Some updates to Premiere have also required the hack to be carried out again.
Hm.. Looks like it's not completely solved..
I've tried everything that's written in this disscussion, but without success...
Any suggestion would be greatly appriciated. Even if I would decide to upgrade the videocard I have a problem, since all supported cards seem to only come in active cooled versions (and I do a lot with audio so it must be silent, passive cooled).
