    If you want it on the left side of your page insert it in the 'left' td cell. Move it down to where you want it positioned in the column by adding some top-padding to the css class 'left' which is attached to the <td> cell.

    <td width="124" rowspan="6" class="left" valign="top">

    Do have this page uploaded on the web?

    If so link us to it and say where you want this scroller to appear.

    I really have no idea what it is you are trying to do without seeing the page as a whole and then you saying where you want the scroller to appear.

    First thing you should do is to get rid of the XML prolog (in bold) -

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="iso-8859-1"?><!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">

    Then the next thing to do is to change this -

    </body>

    </body><!-- 1340370890 -->

    to this -

    </body>

    </html>

    Then change this -

    <head><body>

    <title>Ipswich Timber Frame Ltd - Home</title>

    to this -

    <head>

    <title>Ipswich Timber Frame Ltd - Home</title>

    and this -

    </head>

    <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">

    to this -

    </head>

    <body>

    <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">

    Now you're ready to start work - and whoever has been mucking around in your code, KEEP THEM OUT!

    The next thing to tackle is your very 'fragile' table structure.  In the interest of getting this code fixed quickly, I'll post this message and post back with the rest.

    You have several instances of this (or variations of it) in your code -

    <align="Left" style="font-size: 10pt; color: #39425a; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'">

    There is no such tag.  Perhaps you intended for that to be this?

    <h2 align="Left" style="font-size: 10pt; color: #39425a; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'">

    Then, later, you have this -

    <align="center"> (and 3 other variations)

    I'm thinking again those all belong in the <h2> tag (I won't comment on the wisdom of using the <h2> tag as a layout tool the way you have).

    But honestly, there's no way to tell what the original builder of this page intended.  It will be up to you to make the required changes.

    You have a number of errors in your CSS, too, with misplaced, redundant, and erroneous instances of both opening and closing <style> tags.  A CSS stylesheet should contain NO HTML.  Replace what you have with this -

    html {

              height: 100%;

              font: 11px Arial, Verdana, sans-serif;

    }

    body {

              background-color: #3385c2;

              color: #3385C2;

              margin: 0px;

              padding: 0px;

              font: 11px Arial, Verdana, sans-serif;

              height: 50%;

    }

    .main {

              text-align: left;

    }

    .left {

              background: url(../images/left.gif);

              color: #3E6D89;

              width: 124px

    }

    .right {

              background: url(../images/right.gif);

              color: #3E6D89;

              width: 124px

    }

    .mainpage {

              background-color: #FFFFFF;

              vertical-align: top;

              text-align: left;

              color: #3385C2;

              width: 830px;

              padding: 10px;

              height: 10%;

    }

    .welcome {

              background: url(welcome.jpg);

    </p>

    to this -

    And you will have your marquee in the left-hand column.  Be aware that at viewport widths LESS than about 1240px, your page will begin to look truncated due to the overlap of the vertical scrolling images on the right with the content in the center table (that's entirely too wide anyhow).
