text anarchy

Hi anyone familiar with red giant text anarchy.  I purchased these plug ins thinking they would be simple to use and make text creation fun and easy yet I cannot figure out how to use them all correctly.  A couple have video tuts but most do not.  In particular I was trying to use the gradient path effect which you can apparently add to a mask path. I read the manual and I fiddled around with it for over an hour and still no gradient on my path.

    No idea what you are doing. This works right off the bat on my end - create a solid, draw a path, apply the effect, pick the mask and  - tada - gradient magic. Clarify what you are doing or provide screenshots...

    Hi Mylenium, 

    Im doing exactly as you have said.  Are you using a mac? If so can you please tell me where it is installed as perhaps mine has been installed wrong although the other effects work so not sure why this one isnt.  Thanks

    You seem to be missing the pop-up for the mask path to use. That's all it comes down to. I'm using the PC version, so I can't help you, if this may be a specific Mac thing.

    What is the pop up?  Where should it be?

    It's right at the top of the effects controls normally...
